I had surgery done at the Mayo surgical center. I can't say enough about the care I received. Jaquana an RN, was the main RN to take care of me. She never acted like I was a pain, but she was very patient and never acted like I was being a pain. She always helped and explained things without acting like I was a major annoyance. She was absolutely amazing. I wish I could remember all the names of those who took care of me. 1 other name I need to throw out there is Dr McAvoy. He was me surgeon and there are not enough words to sing his praises.

I had to have emergency surgery on my kidneys. The Doctor's, nurse's and staff were very kind and explained what was gonna happen and that put me at ease. I can't compliment the staff I had enough! Oh, the food was good too

We have had 3 family members treated here and each experience has been unique and wonderful. Love this place and much prefer it to the hospitals in Raleigh and Cary.

"I recently spent one day hospitalized at Nash Hospital, and from the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed. The warm smile of the receptionist was so comforting. I especially want to recognize nurses Lakita and Oksana, and Dr. Connie Smith, who were not only highly professional but also incredibly kind and patient. They took the time to make me feel calm and cared for. The tests were prompt, the diagnosis accurate, and thanks to their excellent care, I am now fully recovered. I am deeply grateful for the compassionate attention, the human warmth, and the quality of service provided. I had a great experience. The staff was fast and helpful. The nurses assigned to me were top notch. I can't speak for everyone, though.

Id like to share my experience. I visited this house due to my son having pain in the stomach area. We were put in a room within 15 minutes of arriving. The doctor was very attentive and answered all questions I had which was quite a lot :) they ran lots of test took completed a CT scan and would not give up until they knew what was exactly wrong with my 16 year old son.In the end he needed to be transfered to Greenville hospital to a pediatric unit with specialist. The nurse we had Tracy was absolutely amazing.I wish I could tell her thank u again. She tried to make my son as comfortable as possible and stayed by his side all the way until transport came. Thank you again to RN Tracey and DR drew for everything!

I have never had such a positive experience in any emergency room. They were friendly professional and we were not there no where near as long as I thought we would be. Great job Nash County Hospital employees!

The emergency room was efficient and very clean. Staff were pleasant. The nurses on the 4th floor, east wing, were exceptional. Attentive, personable, quick to answer calls, and always showing real concern. The staff in the heart cath lab were also top notch. They make sure the patient and family are all supported to the best of their ability.

My dad was transferred here with an emergency and Nash was the only hospital with a bed available. My sisters, my dad’s wife and myself came in like wrecking balls with a million questions. Landen, his assigned RN, was absolutely amazing. Very patient, very kind, and very knowledgeable. He answered every one of our questions, and for questions he did not know the answer to, he immediately messaged the doctor, who immediately messaged back with answers to our questions, and we had a lot! We are very grateful for Landen who put us at ease in a very stressful and scary moment.

My father was transferred here last month and placed in the cardiac ICU. The staff at Nash General was amazing with him. They were very thorough in examining him before admitting him there. They took a lot of detailed notes about everything that was going on. Even though he was in a medically induced coma they treated him like they would if he was awake. They spoke to him and told him why they were doing and comforted him when they could tell he was agitated. They checked on him frequently and made any necessary adjustments. When it was ultimately time to remove him from life support they were so kind and supportive. It made it just a little bit easier. They gave us a keepsake with his final heartbeat that I will cherish forever.
